Alexandra Burke has been confirmed to perform at Warwick Castle as part of a three-day festival. 

The event is called The Great British Weekend and will be held at the historic midlands site, playing host to a live set from the former X Factor star. Olly Murs is also set to appear at the festival. Speaking to BANG Showbiz, the 'Bad Boys' hitmaker explained her excitement about being added to the growing line up:

"I'm very excited about performing at Warwick Castle this summer, it's a stunning venue to play and having the castle as a backdrop is going to be incredible. I'm also looking forward to catching up with Olly, it will be a bit of an 'X factor' reunion."

The festival will take place between July 15-17 and ticketing information is available from Warwick Castle's official website. Burke is currently in the studio working on her new album, but you can watch her performance of 'Start Without You' from last year's T4 On The Beach here:
