Alicia Keys has had her second child with husband Swizz Beatz.

The singer confirmed on Instagram that she gave birth to Genesis Ali Dean on December 27.

He weighed in at 6lbs and 5oz and was born at 1.52am.

Keys posted the information on Instagram on Sunday (December 28), adding:

"The joy of joy is joy!! It's a boy!! We are so grateful!! #blessings!!"

Genesis is the couple's second child, with Keys giving birth to their first boy Egypt in 2010.

The musician and hip-hop artist Beatz married two months prior to the arrival of their first child.
