Alicia Keys has signed on to direct a movie segment about breast cancer for TV network, Lifetime.

The R’n’B superstar will join actresses Jennifer Aniston and Demi Moore, ‘Monster’ director Patty Jenkins and another soon to be announced celebrity in each directing a short film on the subject. In the end, all five segments will be combined to create one full-length movie.

"It's an awesome feeling to be able to give them such a strong platform to do what they do best – entertain and tell great stories – so that we educate viewers about breast cancer through these films of courage, love and hope," says Lifetime president, Nancy Dubuc.
