OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Prime Video CULVER CITY, California - January 15, 2025 – Today, Prime Video announced that Isabella Bucceri, Nukâka Coster-Waldau, Salóme Gunnarsdóttir, Björn Landberg, and Synnøve Madocy Lund have joined the cast for the series’ highly anticipated third season, premiering globally March 13, 2025 on Prime Video. This news also marks the new year’s return of #WOTWednesdays, a fan-favorite weekly reveal of news and assets leading up to the show’s season premiere. The Wheel of Time is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, and is based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling and epic fantasy book series of the same name. Isabella Bucceri (Finally Me, Everything in Between) plays ‘Faile Bashere,’ a Saldaean 'Hunter of the Horn,' whose efforts to locate a treasured relic have led her to The Two Rivers. Nukâka Coster-Waldau (Thin Ice, Anori) portrays eldest Wise One, ‘Bair,’ the most respected member of the Taardad Aiel. Her authority and wisdom are held in higher regard even than that of the Clan Chief. Along with being able to channel the One Power, she has access to an even more mystical ability. Salóme Gunnarsdóttir (The Lazarus Project, Justice League) plays ‘Melaine,’ a Wise One of the Taardad Aiel. Despite not being able to channel, she is able to access a more mystical power. Björn Landberg (German series Galileo Mystery, Unter uns) is ‘Rhuarc,’ the well-respected Clan Chief of the Taardad Aiel. Having passed the trial of Rhuidean to become Chief, he is one of the few Aiel who knows what lies within the fog, though he is forbidden to speak of it. Synnøve Madocy Lund (Ragnarok, Saw X) plays ‘Melindhra,’ a Malkieri survivor who was taken in and raised by the Taardad Aiel. ABOUT ISABELLA BUCCERI

Gunnarsdottir’s film credits include The Hanging Sun, Valhalla - The Legend of Thor, Darkness Visible, Justice League, Autumn Lights, Bakk, Paris of the North and Megaphone. Landberg attended university in Berlin, and also studied acting at the internationally renowned Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in NY. On completion of a year of study abroad, he returned to Germany where he was cast in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, where he portrayed ‘Gaston’ at Metronom Theater in Oberhausen and at Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. Landberg also played supporting roles in German TV series, and was able to use his stage combat skills as the modern gladiator in a German experimental TV show named Galileo Mystery. Landberg returned to the musical theater and played the silverback ‘Kerchak’ from Disney’s Tarzan at Theater Neue Flora in Hamburg. In 2014, he also began dubbing, and has since lent his voice to many different actors, including: as a singer in Disney’s Coco for Benjamin Bratt, as ‘Enrico de la Cruz’ for Andy Garcia in Barb and Star go to Vista del Mar, for Jay Hernandez in Bright, Omar Sy in X-Men, Daniel Sunjata in Power Book II: Ghost, Greg Wise in Strange Angel, Victor Webster in Working Mums, Adam Copeland in Vikings and Malcolm Barrett in The Boys and Preacher. In 2017, Landberg released the album Herztöne and founded his own label Atresus Music, releasing the album Herztöne 2 in 2020. Known for both his baritone voice and his crooner characteristics in singing ballads, Landberg is fluent in English and loves to sing cover versions of classical pop songs by famous artists such as Elvis Presley, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Engelbert Humperdinck. In 2023, he released the EP Timeless Melodies. Due to covid pandemic conditions, Landberg began producing the podcast ‘Bett am Strand,’ that offers relaxing sensual short stories about worldwide travelling. In 2023, he founded Dreamwalk Audio, an audio production company for podcasts, audio books, voice-over and advertising, and in January 2025, ‘Bed on the Beach,’ the English version of ‘Bett am Strand,’ will be published.
