THE BASKERVILLES RELEASE NEW SINGLE & VIDEO ‘ONLY HUMAN’; AN ODE TO LOVE AND LUST UNDER HOUSE ARREST.

British rock quartet The Baskervilles are back with the release of their sophomore 2020 single ‘Only Human’, an ode to love and lust under house arrest.

“It feels like a lifetime since we last took to the stage, the world slowed down and venues went quiet. Like a lot of bands we’ve had to spend time working out how we keep pushing forward at a time when we can’t get out there physically.” exclaim The Baskervilles, who through times of industry and worldwide uncertainty have continued to connect with their fans, first striking with some much needed musical empowerment in the form of ‘GOT YOUR BACK’ in April, followed by numerous digital creations and live engagements, and now the release of their lock-down conjured single and video ‘ONLY HUMAN', released 30th October.

“Only Human is an ode to love and lust under house arrest, a serendipitous score to the pent up passions and could of been but for quarantine love stories that will have to wait til next year. Hopefully.” - James Betts, The Baskervilles

The video for ONLY HUMAN showcases an upbeat, captivating and stellar example of the calibre of self-created content the band have been putting together in isolation, alongside numerous other digital creations including the recent live-stream for Ipswich Sound City Festival. With over 120 thousand Spotify streams, 50 live shows, Reading and Leeds Festival performances, continued BBC support, and drive to rival even the strongest of contenders; Ipswich based Rock outfit The Baskervilles deliver a stinging synopsis of love, life and hypocrisy, set to a blend of raw energy and rolling thunder, taking influence from a melting pot of the likes of Yonaka, Bring Me The Horizon and Arctic Monkeys.

When the first opportunity arises, and the live-music industry returns to its powerful and influential state once again, ‘Only Human’ amongst other forthcoming planned releases will be taken to the live stage, but until then;

Watch, Stream and Share 'Only Human' as of Friday 30th October 2020, 10:00am.
Available to stream / download via Spotify, Apple Music and all other major outlets.
