Ariana Grande on Mariah Carey comparisons: 'There are no negatives about that'

'Problem' songstress Ariana Grande has revealed that she doesn't mind when people liken her to Mariah Carey because there's so much talent there that it could never be a dull comparison.

Speaking to Us Weekly about the constant comparisons she receives to vocal sensation Mariah Carey, the 'Break Free' beauty admitted that it really is such an honour that she can't grow tired of it:

"Mariah has been a huge influence on me since I was a little girl. I've even done a cover of one of her songs. I don't think there are any negatives to being compared to one of the greatest vocalists of all time. It's honestly a great honour."

Grande also opened up about her brother Frankie's 'Big Brother' journey, adding that she's proud of everything he has achieved:

"I'm his biggest fan, and I know how much it meant for him to be able to be on one of his favourite shows. But there's also definitely been times I've wanted to jump through the screen and just tell him 'Do this instead!' or 'Backdoor him!'"
