Ariana Grande struggling with homesickness

'Problem' beauty Ariana Grande has been posting messages to her fans on Twitter that reveal she's feeling sad to be away from home.

Yesterday (October 14), the songstress told her followers that they had done a great job of lifting her spirits lately because she misses her family and is finding it hard to be away from them: "Was down n homesick earlier but seeing u loves tn made me feel a lot better.... U are precious. thanks to NRJ radio for having me."

She returned to the social networking site this afternoon and revealed that she still feels down, but her fans make her feel better: "Been homesick af the past couple days but comin' on here and talking to u loves is comforting n familiar. You're a blessing. Cuties."

Grande, meanwhile, recently opened up about her family's strength and confessed that her determination to succeed is all thanks to how she was raised: "I will never succumb to that (pressure of fame). And I think that’s because of my mother, and because of my family. I come from a strong, loud Italian family. We don’t take sh*t from anybody. But as somebody who’s also very sensitive and likes to please people, it’s conflicting for me. Because a lot of the time I like to say, 'OK! If you say so!'."
