Ariana Grande who was named Best Female Artist, tweeted her thanks to Radio Disney for their support for her win at this year's Radio Disney Music Awards.

Taking to Twitter yesterday (April 30), the 'Dangerous Woman' replied:

'.@radiodisney !!! thank you my babies !!! I love youuu [sic]'

The 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMAs) took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and were streamed the following day (April 30) on the Disney Channel.

There were over 16 performances during the two-hours show. Performers included Hailee Steinfeld, Train, Noah Cyrus and Erin Bowman.

Fifth Harmony won the Best Group and Fiercest Fans Awards, whilst Britney Spears received the first ever Icon Award. Spears became famous from appearing in Disney's The Mickey Mouse Club with Justin Timberlake, who she then dated.

Other winners included Niall Horan who won the Best Male Artist Award, and Shawn Mendes' track, 'Treat You Better' bagged the Song of the Year. 

Former Disney Channel star, Selena Gomez won Favourite Tour for her Revival Tour of 2016. 

Camila Cabello received the Best Collaboration Award for 'Bad Things', the song she sang with Machine Gun Kelly.
