Austin Mahone has recorded a short video of a Fifth Harmony cover.

The US starlet took to Vine to post a clip of himself singing the track 'Better Together'.

The song originally appeared on the X Factor USA girl group's 2013 EP of the same name.

The band's Camila Cabello meanwhile retweeted a link to the video, saying to Mahone directly:

"Omg what song is that."

Mahone meanwhile recently confirmed plans to tour North America to promote his debut album 'The Secret', which is being released on May 26.

The singer will play a slew of shows across the continent from July 25 to September 9, with Fifth Harmony lined up to support alongside The Vamps.

He will also perform his first UK show at the Indigo2 in London on June 23.
