Heartthrob Austin Mahone has admitted that he was a little hurt to see that friend and fellow music star Selena Gomez had decided to unfollow him on photo sharing app Instagram recently. 

Speaking to J-14.com about Gomez's recent purge on the social networking app, Mahone explained that he did notice how she culled everyone she followed and was a little surprised by it. 

He confessed: “Yes, I saw [she unfollowed Taylor, Kylie and Kendall]. I was mad! I was like, 'I wonder if Selena’s still following me,' so I looked and then I saw she was following zero people, so I was like, 'Alright, I see how it is.'"

He went onto joke that the next time he sees the 'Come & Get It' beauty he will ask her why she stopped following him: "I’m going to confront her about it next time I see her, like, 'Yo, why’d you unfollow me?'"

Mahone, meanwhile, will head out on a U.S. tour later this summer and recently announced that British pop-rock band The Vamps will support the run of dates along with girl group Fifth Harmony. He will perform a headlining concert in London on June 23.
