Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer on BBC’s Planet Earth II and composing music to some of the most epic scenes he has ever witnessed.

Over three years in the making, with 117 filming trips in 40 different countries and a total of 2089 shooting days, the BBC have tested the limits of their intrepid crews. They’ve travelled to some of the world’s most inaccessible places to bring audiences a new perspective on Planet Earth.
