BBC acquires highly anticipated crime series The InvestigationOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY BBC One The BBC has acquired highly anticipated six-part new crime series, The Investigation from Fremantle. Produced by Fremantle’s Scandinavian drama producers, Miso Film, Miso Film, and written and directed by the Oscar-nominated Tobias Lindholm (A Hijacking, A War, Mindhunter), the series follows the complex investigation carried out by Jens Møller, the Head of Homicide for the Copenhagen Police, surrounding the murder of Swedish journalist Kim Wall. Søren Malling (A Hijacking, Borgen) leads the cast as Jens Møller, alongside Pilou Asbæk (Game Of Thrones, A War) as the prosecutor Jakob Buch-Jepsen and Pernilla August (Star Wars, Best Intentions) and Rolf Lassgård (The Hunters, Downsizing) as Kim Wall’s parents, Ingrid and Joachim Wall. Further cast includes Laura Christensen, Anders Juul, Henrik Birch, Hans Henrik Clemensen, Dulfi Al-Jabouri and Charlotte Munck.
