Liverpool is ready to Welcome The World for this year's Eurovision Song Contest!

Some famous faces from the city have been helping with some very special BBC filming to demonstrate how this year’s Contest is United by Music.

Acting legend and The Royle Family star, Ricky Tomlinson relives his role as Bobby Grant from the iconic Liverpool-based soap opera Brookside. In new images released, ‘Bobby’ is putting up his Ukranian-themed bunting outside the Grant home on Brookside Close.

Paul Hollywood, Liverpool Women’s FC's Emma Koivisto and Sofie Lundgaard, and Ukrainian Everton player Vitalii Mykolenko have been getting ready for Eurovision in their own ways too.
