Springwatch returns to BBC Two at the end of May, broadcasting live from the National Trust’s Sherborne Park Estate in the heart of the Cotswold countryside once more.
Presented by Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan and Gillian Burke, this annual three-week wildlife extravaganza brings intimate and extraordinary encounters with some of the UK’s most loved animals.

By spreading a network of high-tech cameras across the Gloucestershire countryside, Springwatch allows the viewers at home the chance to have a privileged view of the intimate moments of animals’ lives in the most crucial season for all of them.

But it isn’t just about the Cotswolds - the Springwatch team will also be on the road to bring spring as it happens from across the UK, with live reports up and down the country and short films full of fascinating wildlife, science and the people who do extraordinary things for the natural world.

As ever the webcams will be live for the full three weeks, and the digital team will be updating, uploading and keeping everyone across the latest news on our social media channels.

Excitingly, there is a brand new, digital-only show to announce this year - the Springwatch Wild Academy. This show will be specifically aimed at schools and young people, and will feature big names and exciting challenges. The show will be available online in the final two weeks of transmission, broadcasting live at 1.30pm everyday from Monday to Thursday.
