Monday’s Asian Network presenters Harpz Kaur, Haroon Rashid, Yasser and Bobby Friction will share their personal memories with listeners as they curate their own shows, each including the following segments:

My Bollywood Icon - Half an hour of music featuring each presenters favourite Bollywood star

Bollywood Blockbuster - Playing all the best tracks from a Bollywood film of each presenters choice

Top Ten - Choreo Countdown (Harpz) / Khan’s vs Kapoor’s (Haroon) / Bollywood Villains (Yasser)

Bollywood Uncovered

BBC Asian Network podcast Bollywood Uncovered goes behind the scenes to reveal what it really takes to make it big in Bollywood today.

Launching on BBC Sounds on Monday 25 May, Bollywood Uncovered is the new podcast series by BBC Asian Network that takes listeners on a journey to discover how exactly some of Mumbai’s biggest talent have launched into superstardom.

In the six-part podcast, Entertainment Reporter Haroon Rashid travels to Mumbai to sit down with industry experts including: renowned film critics and journalists, PR experts, social media game changers, and even nutritionists to the stars. Haroon meets some of Bollywood’s biggest power-players and finds out what it takes to sustain a long and successful career in a place obsessed with ‘the next-big-thing.’

Haroon also speaks to some of the most successful Bollywood stars including: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra to find out how they managed to climb and maintain their positions on top of the notoriously fickle ladder of stardom in Mumbai.

The full series features conversations with: Prajakta Koli, Rajeev Masand, Sucharita Tyagi, Ankur Pathak, Dr Siddhant Bhargava, Viral Bhayani, Mandvi Sharma, Nayandeep Rakshit and Justin Rao.
