Viral comedy star Yung Filly will return to BBC Three for a second series of Hot Property and a second shot at helping young daters find love, it has been announced.

The recommission follows a successful first series, which saw 70 per cent of requests on iPlayer come from 16-34s.

Last series saw eight singletons team up with Filly to snoop around the homes and meet the mates of three potential suitors, before choosing one to go on a blind date with. But as ever the path to true love never runs smooth, and while some rooms left them desperate to know more, others harboured secrets no one wants to find, from sardines under the bed to old love notes from an ex...

Yung Filly says: “I’m absolutely gassed for season two of Hot Property. The first one allowed me to meet so many different people and also make so many friends. This time I’ll be back with even more vibes, more humour, more energy and more laughter… can’t wait!”

Fiona Campbell, Controller of BBC Three, says: “With its simple format and the infectious Yung Filly as our host, Hot Property was hugely successful with bringing a young audience to BBC Three. We’re really excited to travel across the country for more match-making and to work with him again for series two.”

The premise is simple; fall in love with the room before falling in love with the person, but with no idea what lies behind the bedroom door, will roomance turn into romance?

Hot Property (8x20’) was commissioned by Fiona Campbell, Controller of BBC Three. The executive producer is Jo Smith, the series producer is Toral Davda and the series director is Jim Ashley for BBC Three In-house Production.
