RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series four casting is now open

And BBC Three brings Canada’s Drag Race series two to BBC iPlayer in December

Following the success of the first Canadian series, BBC Three has acquired series two of Canada’s Drag Race (10x60’) from World of Wonder, bringing it back to BBC iPlayer in December 2021

The second series will drop as a ten-part boxset on BBC iPlayer, alongside a special anniversary episode with Canada’s First Drag Superstar, Priyanka, looking back at all the highlights of series one.

Series two will see 12 Canadian drag artists competing for the title of Canada’s Next Drag Superstar. Each episode will test their talents and challenge them to master singing, dancing, acting, impersonation, costume making and improvisation.

Judging the series are a panel of entertainment industry experts, including Brooke Lynn Hytes, Brad Goreski, Amanda Brugel and Traci Melchor, alongside a weekly celebrity guest.

The queens are: Adriana, Beth, Eve 6000, Gia Metric, Icesis Couture, Kendall Gender, Kimora Amour, Océane Aqua-Black, Pythia, Stephanie Prince, Suki Doll and Synthia Kiss.

And as series three of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK continues to enthral viewers on BBC iPlayer every Thursday, we have extra special news for any aspiring drag queens… Mama Ru herself has declared casting for series four is now open.

In association with Crave, Canada’s Drag Race (10x60’) is produced by Blue Ant Studios. Executive Producers for World of Wonder are Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, and Tom Campbell. RuPaul serves as Executive Producer. Executive Producers for Blue Ant Studios are Michael Kot, Laura Michalchyshyn, Betty Orr, and Pam McNair. Showrunner is Trevor Boris. BBC Three exclusively brings the global phenomenon RuPaul’s Drag Race UK to British screens for the fourth time.
