Nasfim Haque has been appointed as Head of Content for BBC Three

Nasfim will be leading BBC Three on a daily commissioning and editorial basis following the previously announced news that Fiona Campbell has taken on the new role of Controller, Youth Audience (BBC iPlayer & BBC Three).

Nasfim Haque has an abundance of experience in delivering content that speaks to and connects with young audiences and has been Interim Channel Editor of BBC Three since February 2022. Nasfim will now be overseeing the BBC Three team permanently on a day to day basis planning, developing and delivering a broad range of diverse and innovative content from suppliers across all genres and from across the nations as well. In her new role, Nasfim will be continuing to ensure BBC Three offers young audiences a rich content mix of drama, comedy, entertainment, documentaries, news, film and sport. 2023 promises a huge amount for audiences to look forward to on the channel, with upcoming content including music competition series Project Icon, reality entertainment series Charlotte in Sunderland and a full series of the critically acclaimed Dreaming Whilst Black amongst a raft of other titles. In her new role, Nasfim will report into Fiona Campbell.

Prior to her appointment as Interim Channel Editor for BBC Three, Nasfim was a Commissioning Editor in Factual Entertainment where she was responsible for titles such as Meet the Khans and James Arthur: Out of Our Minds for BBC Three as well Tan France: Beauty and the Bleach for BBC Two and the forthcoming Scarlett's Driving School for BBC One. Nasfim started her career as a Production Trainee at BBC Wales, working in BBC bases in London, Manchester and Birmingham before moving to the independent sector working across production and development for companies such as Two Four, Century Films and Love Productions plus a stint at Channel 4 commissioning.

Nasfim then returned to the corporation as BBC Three's Digital Commissioner, bringing BAFTA nominated Eating with my Ex to the channel as well as delivering the ground-breaking Things Not to Say.
