FOALS WIN BEST ACT IN THE WORLD AT THE Q AWARDS 2015
LOS ANGELES, CA - OCTOBER 21, 2015 - Foals' ascension to rock's premier league continues to soar with the news that they have been honoured as Best Act in the World at the Q Awards earlier this week, an honour previously bestowed to Coldplay, Muse, U2, and Radiohead. The day started with Foals leading the pack with three nominations (completed by Best Track and Best Video for 'What Went Down') alongside Florence + The Machine, Ed Sheeran and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. The title is the band's second Q Award after winning Best Live Act in 2013.
Foals' current album What Went Down emerged to the best reviews of the band's career as it debuted at #3 and commanded a Top 20 chart position for four weeks in the UK. What Went Down is Foals' fourth album after Antidotes (2007), Total Life Forever (2010) and Holy Fire (2013). To purchase What Went Down now click HERE.
