After releasing a few projects of his own and gaining recognition around the city, Dave teamed up with hip-hop legend Nas and his label Mass Appeal  to put out his lauded mixtape Kairi Chanel in 2016. With the success of the mixtape, Dave inked a deal with Def Jam at the end of 2016 and is gearing up for his debut in 2017.
