LINKÖPING, SWEDEN - JUNE 1, 2018 - Grammy® Award-winning band Ghost today released their highly anticipated fourth sacred psalm Prequelle via Loma Vista Recordings. Following over 25,000 album pre-orders (the highest in their career) and over 5 Million pre-release streams of first single "Rats" (and a Top 5 spot at Active Rock Radio), Prequelle is finally available digitally and physically now below. Limited edition merch bundles are available exclusively in the Ghost Shop below.
Ghost announced the band's first ever headline arena dates at The Forum in Los Angeles (11/16) and Barclays Center in Brooklyn (12/15) to take place later this year and will be featured on four different covers on Revolver Magazine's July issue, hitting stands next week and available to preview online.
Ghost announced Prequelle (pronounced prē-KWELL) alongside the album's lead single "Rats" on April 13, 2018 and introduced fans to the band's new singer Cardinal Copia. Watch his ascension to frontman in Prequelle Chapters 1-3 below. Last month, the band treated fans to an early listen of the album's second song "Dance Macabre" with the first-ever Instagram Stories song premiere. Lyrically, Prequelle delves into the plague, the apocalypse, and dark ages. The entire body of work is also a snapshot of the world in which we live in on a daily basis, brought to life through an emotive, enlightening, and riveting body of songs.
This evening, the band will wrap their Rats On The Road Tour of the US with a sold out show at St. Paul, MN's Palace Theater. A complete list of upcoming live dates and ticket information can be found below.
