US: Lewis Capaldi’s global hit single ‘Someone You Loved’ conquers the US charts

BMG songwriter Lewis Capaldi’s Platinum-certified global hit single ‘Someone You Loved’ climbs to Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 (chart week dated November 2, 2019), officially conquering the top US chart following a steady 24-week climb.

The song, co-written by BMG songwriters Thomas Barnes, Peter Kelleher, and Benjamin Kohn – collectively known as TMS – also tops the Pop Songs, Top 40 radio, and US Shazam charts.

Initially released nearly one year ago on his Breach EP, the song has accumulated nearly two billion streams worldwide topping charts in Canada, Czech Republic, Ireland, Malaysia, Scotland, and the UK – where the song held on to Number One for seven weeks. Additionally, the song has reached the Top 5 in Australia, Belgium, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, and Switzerland; and Top 10 in Austria, Denmark, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, and Sweden.
