BMG recording artist, songwriter, and reigning American Idol winner Chayce Beckham has announced his highly anticipated debut EP, Doin’ It Right, which will be released on April 15 by BMG label Wheelhouse Records. Across the EP, Beckham divulges the secrets behind “doin’ life right” with masterful storytelling weaved together by small-town charm and back-porch philosophies. The six-pack of songs is overflowing with strong, energetic choruses and Beckham’s rough, powerhouse vocals.

Beckham said, "Since my season on American Idol, I’ve been busy in Nashville writing songs and touring. I tested these songs in front of live audiences last year, and now I’m so excited to have them recorded and ready for you to listen to. I’m really proud of these songs, and I believe they not only tell my story, but they tell stories relatable to everyone going through everyday life."

In 2021, BMG announced an innovative new deal as the new label and publishing partner for American Idol, which was revealed on the ABC TV series Season 19 penultimate episode. The partnership between BMG and show producer, Industrial Media’s 19 Entertainment, includes Season 19 and its 20th anniversary season.

Following the Season 19 finale, BMG released Beckham’s debut single ‘23’ before officially signing publishing and recordings agreements to release his recordings through BBR Music Group imprint Wheelhouse Records.

Capturing the good-time feelings of a Nineties Country throwback, Beckham co-wrote four of the six tracks, proving he’s the ‘real deal’ with an innate talent for crafting country music, as he was working as a forklift operator just one year ago.

The project features the previously released southern comfort track ‘Tell Me Twice’, the EP’s title track, ‘Where The River Goes’ about taking in a million-dollar view— but from a high-rise condo, ‘Talk To Me’, and ‘Love To Burn’ about the rush and intoxication of being in love. In contrast, ‘I’ll Take The Bar’ explores the heaviness of love gone wrong.

While his supercharged duet with label-mate Lindsay Ell, ‘Can’t Do Without Me’, is climbing the country radio charts, Beckham is currently on tour with Jimmie Allen, headlining his own shows across the country, and will hit the road with Luke Combs this fall.
