BMG is pleased to announce a partnership with Stockholm-based artist management company Scandinavian Talent Management (STM), in line with its policy of deepening its relationship with the artist management community.

STM, which specializes in music supervision, music publishing, and live events, in addition to artist management, has simultaneously announced that the company will launch the music event Falkfest in the Swedish city Falkenberg in the summer of 2023 with Swedish singer-songwriter Miss Li as the headliner.

Launched in November 2022, STM strives to create strong personal artist brands, and being in the market for only a few months, the start-up already has a growing, diverse roster of talent, including Swedish rock-pop singer-songwriter and BMG artist Kristofer Greczula; actor Wilma Lidén, who is starting her music career; British guitarist, songwriter and producer Chad Neale, who shared scene for years with the legendary Sting; Mando Diao bassist Carl-Johan ‘CeeJay’ Fogelklou; award-winning film writer and director Johan Brisinger, known for the films Suddenly and Among Us; composer and musician Per Störby Jutbring, who composed the soundtrack for the critically acclaimed Swedish television series Thunder in my Heart season two and the Oscar- and BAFTA-winning film Searching For Sugar Man; and Swedish junior world powerlifting champion Carl Johansson.

Albert Slendebroek, Managing Director Scandinavia at BMG, said: "BMG and STM are a perfect match! Both share the mission of helping artists to make the most out of their careers and, most importantly, they don’t work for us, we work for them as a service-oriented partner. Henrik Johansson is a great entrepreneur with a proven track record of building successful businesses. Over the last decades, Sweden has proven to be a flourishing market for music export with great success stories. We're looking forward to expanding with STM in Europe."

Henrik Johansson, Founder and Managing Director of STM, said: "Artists have increasingly diverse careers, and the importance of a strong personal artist brand is becoming more and more important. With the launch of STM, our vision was to create opportunities for artists who are shaping pop culture in Scandinavia and beyond. And we are not limited to the music industry. We are delighted with BMG's trust and are confident that we can create many synergies with their global resources and networks."

STM’s set-up consists of four divisions: STM ARTIST MANAGEMENT, STM MUSIC SUPERVISION, STM MUSIC PUBLISHING, and STM LIVE. As part of its mission to be a creative and service partner to its talents and clients, STM aims to become a major player in music supervision, working with high-profile composers for original scores and mastering the art of placing existing songs for films, TV series, video games, and commercials, and seeking songs for films, TV series, and commercials. In addition, STM will offer music publishing services to its clients who are not yet working with an external music publisher. STM MUSIC SUPERVISION and MUSIC PUBLISHING will be led by Hans Desmond, who brings extensive experience from previous positions at Warner Chappell and Scandinavian Songs. STM LIVE will host concerts in the Swedish-city Falkenberg throughout the year.
