Grazia has today announced the appointments of Candice Brathwaite and Stephanie Yeboah as Contributing Editors. As authors and bloggers that fight for diversity, inclusion and women’s rights, the two women will use their wealth of experience to provide in-depth commentary on a wide range of topics across the Grazia brand.

The author of the bestselling book ‘I Am Not Your Baby Mother’ and the founder of Make Motherhood Diverse – an online initiative that aims to encourage a more accurately representative and diverse depiction of motherhood in the media – Candice Brathwaite brings her knowledge of diversity in the media to Grazia, with a detailed look into what has changed in the 100 days since the killing of George Floyd in this week’s issue.

Stephanie Yeboah also brings her personal experience to the team. A plus-size style blogger who has been part of the body positive community since 2014 and author of the new book, ‘Fattily Ever After: A Black Fat Girl’s Guide To Living Life’, Stephanie writes in the latest issue about why, despite the emergence of Lizzo, society is still fatphobic.

Commenting on her new role, Candice said: “As a dedicated reader of Grazia for many years this is quite literally a dream come true. For years Grazia was my weekly slice of peace whilst also encouraging me to dream big, I can’t wait to be part of creating that feeling for others.”

Stephanie said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Grazia as a contributing editor. I consider Grazia to be at the forefront of combining trendsetting high street and high fashion, beauty and lifestyle content with thought-provoking, diverse and hard-hitting features, and as a long-time reader of the publication, I am honoured to be joining the team!”

Hattie Brett, Editor of Grazia added: “We’re so delighted to welcome both Candice and Stephanie to the Grazia team as our new Contributing Editors. We can’t wait to read what they’ll have to say and know our readers will love hearing from new voices.”

The new issue of Grazia is available on newsstands today, Tuesday 8th September, and at GreatMagazines.co.uk. It is available as a digital download on Apple News +, Google Play and Kindle.
