If you’re looking for a podcast that brings you closer to your musical heroes, from Debbie Harry to Paul Weller and Arlo Parks, then look no further than ‘Skin Tings’, the brand-new podcast from Skunk Anansie’s Skin.

Having been in the industry for over 30 years, Skin is a real authority on the music scene. Fronting a highly influential band, making records and headlining festivals, Skin has also become known for challenging stereotypes within the music industry, including the lack of opportunities for black women. Now acting as a crucial role model for the future generation of aspiring female musicians, Skin continues to make music and tour with Skunk Anansie while also hosting her new weekly Absolute Radio show every Sunday evening.

New podcast ‘Skin Tings’ which launches today (March 4th) is an extension of her radio show, featuring full-length interviews with famous friends, musical heroes and the most exciting up and coming talent. Listen in as Skin and a special guest each week relive past experiences, swap stories from on and off tour and look ahead to new music.

Speaking about the podcast, Skin said “My Absolute Radio show has been a brilliant opportunity to catch up with friends old and new and have a real heart to heart. But there’s only so much time on the radio! With each discussion so touching, interesting and inspiring, I wanted to give listeners the chance to hear the full uncut conversations in all their glory.”

Rock royalty Debbie Harry, Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins and Garbage’s Shirley Manson each feature in the first three episodes that have been released simultaneously today. Other upcoming guests include Paul Weller, Arlo Parks and Joan Armatrading.

Skin Tings is available to download every Thursday from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, the Absolute Radio app, absoluteradio.co.uk, and all mainstream podcast providers.
