The shortlist for the prestigious Audio & Radio Industry Awards (ARIAS) has been announced, with Bauer securing a stunning 25 nominations.

As unveiled by the Radio Academy yesterday evening, Bauer’s national networks Absolute Radio, Hits Radio, KISS, Magic Radio and Greatest Hits Radio are among nominees, along with local stations Clyde 1, Viking and Pirate FM.

The news follows on from the 2021 event in which Bauer won two of the biggest awards on the night, including National Network or Station of the Year for Magic Radio and the Radio Times Moment of the Year for KISS’ Jordan and Perri on-air rection to Diversity’s BLM routine.

This year there are 25 awards to be won on the night in categories such as Best Music Breakfast Show, Best Local Radio Show and Radio Times Moment of the Year. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Adelphi Theatre in London on Tuesday 3rd May 2022.
