Fremantle, Australia based 4-piece San Cisco are set to release The Beach EP through Columbia Records in the UK on December 10th. The title track is taken from their forthcoming self-titled debut album, which is set for release in May 2013.

‘Beach’ came about one night when Josh and Jordi downloaded Funkbox, an iPhone app that simulates all of the classic drum machines. Prior to this period, Josh had been collecting a lot of old keyboards and so they went into his room and layered them all on top of each other in to a super explosive chorus. The song “is about a boy and a girl; with one of them always running from reality, making for a difficult relationship full of love and hate. You never know what you’ve got till its gone...”

The Beach EP will be released as a limited edition gatefold 7” vinyl, and will be available as a download.
