Billie Eilish Expands Australian & NZ Leg of World Tour

Last week on October 6, Billie Eilish announced the leg of her Australian and New Zealand ‘Happier Than Ever’ world tour, and the Grammy winner has already been forced to add even more dates due to “overwhelming demand”.

Less than a week ago, Eilish announced dates in Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth for September 2022, with one show per location. However, following two pre-sales earlier this morning on October 11, the superstar has now added an extra show in each date.

An artist’s pre-sale, along with Chugg, Frontier and Live Nation members pre-sales, will take place this week on October 13, with tickets for both original and new dates all being offered. General sale is set to open on October 15, with all shows open to attendees of all ages.

The 19-year-old previously revealed that she would be teaming up with environmental nonprofit REVERB to make the tour “climate positive”, which a statement says will “[eliminate] significantly more emissions than the tour creates”.

These shows are only the latest additions to the acclaimed singer-songwriter’s world tour, which was announced earlier this year, with over 50 dates split between the UK and US throughout the first half of 2022, including six shows at London’s O2 Arena, plus a headlining set at Glastonbury.

The world tour is to promote Eilish's second album Happier Than Ever, which arrived in July of this year.

It will be the first time Eilish has played in Australia since 2019, when she undertook a nationwide tour only a month after she released her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
