Boy George understands Justin Bieber: 'I completely identify with what he's going through'

Iconic musician Boy George has revealed that he understands what Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber is going through because he's had some extreme life experiences, too.

Speaking to Access Hollywood about Bieber's recent behaviour and arrest, Boy George explained that the 'Baby' heartthrob needs to make changes by himself in his own time and people constantly trying to help him won't be a positive influence on how he chooses to live:

"I can definitely identify with it completely and I can also identify with the fact that if you said anything to him, he'd laugh at you. Because I would have. If you said to me, 'You know what? You're messing this up.' I wouldn't have listened because you don't listen when you're that age."

"You don't and that's a shame because I could've saved myself a lot of drama. A lot of money as well."

Boy George, meanwhile, has just announced a series of headlining concerts that will take him to America this spring and he will kick off the run of dates with a show at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA. The tour will end on April 29 in California.
