Boy George won't be returning to The Voice.

The singer joined the UK TV talent show for its 2016 series.

However, he told fans on Twitter today (July 5) that his time on the programme is up.

Boy George said: "Not doing this season of 'The Voice on ITV but sending @iamwill my love. Watch this space for what I am up to! :)."

Will.i.am announced on Monday (July 4) that he will be returning the show.

The Voice will now be broadcast by ITV after spending five years with the BBC.

This year's panel consisted of will.i.am, Paloma Faith, Boy George and Ricky Wilson.
