Boy George says new Culture Club will sound "now"

Boy George has given away a few more exciting details on the forthcoming new Culture Club record and the possibility of taking the band on tour next year in 2012.

The 'Karma Chameleon' singer recently revealed that his old band would be reforming for both a string of live dates and to record a new album, and has opened up about the plans to Billboard:

"I'm not sure what kind of record it will be,"

"but it certainly won't be an attempt to recreate what we did before but something that will fit into now."

The new Culture Club record will be their first since 1999's 'Don't Mind If I Do', and Boy George explained that the members have become close again and are looking forward to the future:

"It's just nice to be able to say we're going to do it together. Everyone gets along really well now. I think it'll be a really fun experience."
