Since his arrival back in early 2018, self-produced singer-songwriter Jony Shelby has been unstoppable. Having already received support from the likes of Elevator Magazine, Stereo Stickman and ZO Magazine, Shelby now returns with the masterful ‘Alone, But I Need It’ dropping March 29th.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Jony Shelby grew up listening to a diverse catalogue of music and taking part in his local choir. Garnering a love for music at a young age, Shelby began learning to produce beats and explore his sound, pulling inspiration from artists such as Kid Kudi, Childish Gambino and James Blake. His eclectic taste in music shaped Shelby’s unique sound that’s carried him from strength to strength with every release.
Jony’s journey began in early 2018 with the release of his debut EP ‘Astronauts’ shortly followed by the release of his second EP ‘Mango’, receiving recognition from Elevator Magazine, Stereo Stickman and ZO Magazine.
Fusing his unique sound with his creativity, originality and strong songwriting ability, Jony Shelby will be releasing ‘Alone, But I Need It’ on March 29th via DistroKid.
