A new interactive story narrated by actor Brian Blessed, The Best Book In The World, launches on the CBeebies Storytime app today in time for World Book Day 2018.

In keeping with this year’s World Book Day theme of Share A Story, the interactive tale begins when, on the eve of World Book day,  Luna’s Grandpa tell her a bedtime story bout the adventures he and his school friends had when they tried to return his favourite book to his school library - and the obstacles they faced along the way. 

The story will be available on the CBeebies Storytime app from today ahead of World Book Day 2018. 

Children read and play along with the story by helping Grandpa and Luna through a series of playful activities, including turning back the clock dials to time travel back to when Grandpa was young; flying on a dragon’s back to get to the school library on time; and helping open the present Grandpa gives Luna.
