"Grammys" Dominated Social Media Last Night

THE 63rd ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS(R) delivered the largest primetime audience for any awards show during the current 2020-2021 season, according to Nielsen time zone-adjusted fast national ratings for Sunday, March 14.

The GRAMMYS delivered 8.8 million viewers, which includes those that watched the linear broadcast or live streamed the show via CBS.com, the CBS app or Paramount+. THE GRAMMYS also finished on top in key demos (2.6 in adults 25-54, 2.1 in adults 18-49 and 1.5 in adults 18-34). This is the largest audience and best key demographic delivery for an awards show since The Academy Awards on Feb. 9, 2020

THE 63rd ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS were the most-streamed Grammy show ever, with live streams across CBS.com, the CBS app and Paramount+. This number was up +83% over 2020.

THE 63rd ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS was the most social awards program of the year with 77 billion potential impressions. Conversation related to performers, presenters and the program dominated social media last night with #GRAMMYS trending in the top ten for 18 hours and peaking at #1.
