“Havana” Named Spotify’s Most Streamed Song By A Female Solo Artist of All Time

Camila Cabello has broken another record as Spotify have named "Havana" the most streamed song by a female solo artist of all time.

The global smash hit, featuring guest vocals from American rapper Young Thug, has received more than 888 million Spotify streams.

The song was at the top of the US Pop Songs charts and the UK Official Chart for weeks, as well as reaching No. 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year. It was also No. 1 in the Adult Top 40 and Rhythmic Top 40 as well as No. 1 in the Radio Songs chart and Digital Song Sales chart.

The Cuban-American singer has been promoting it since last summer, most recently performing it at BBC's The Biggest Weekend in the UK, which caused #Swansea to trend in Brazil.

"Havana" was released on August 3, 2017. It was initially released as a promotional single, then hit radio on September 8, 2017. Due to its huge success, it later became the official lead single in 2018 of Cabello's solo debut album Camila, replacing "Crying in the Club".
