'See You Again' beauty Carrie Underwood recently announced that she's expecting her first baby with husband Mike Fisher and she has now opened up about being pregnant in a new interview with The Today Show. 

She confessed that she still can't believe she's on her way to being a parent and keeps having to remind herself that it's real:

"It's still kinda weird, to be honest. Sometimes I'll be with my husband, and it's like, I'm gonna be a mom. You're gonna be a dad. Is this real life? But we're really excited."

She added that her own mother is her inspiration and she hopes to be as much of a role model to her child as her mother is to her: "I have a wonderful mother, so if I can be even a little bit like that, we'll be good."

Underwood, meanwhile, added that she will be bringing out a very special 'greatest hits' album this winter and will release 'Greatest Hits: Decade #1' on December 9. She issued a statement about the record and said: "I can't believe it's been a decade since I auditioned for 'American Idol'. Looking back at the songs I've released over the years lets me relive my amazing journey. Even better I get to include new music for the fans!"
