Country songstress Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher have welcomed a baby boy into the world after she gave birth on Friday, February 27. 

She uploaded an adorable snapshot (pictured left) of the baby to her official Twitter page earlier this morning (March 3) and also revealed his name in the caption: "Tiny hands and tiny feet...God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher - born February 27."

Last month, Underwood confessed that choosing a name for a baby is hard because she feels as though you end up picking a name that suits the personality: "There’s kind of a couple that we are OK with. But it is hard labelling your child for the rest of his life."

She added that a final decision on the name will probably be made once he is born: "I was like, 'Why don’t we just come up with a short list that we are both agreeable to and then we meet the little guy and see what we are feeling.'"
