Country sensation Carrie Underwood has announced that she will release her fifth studio record, entitled 'Storyteller', on October 23. 

The beauty's new album will be preceded by a new single called 'Smoke Break', which she explained it about escaping from life's non-stop bustle:

"It's basically an anthem for every hard-working person. We all wear many hats and are spread thin, so we can all relate to being tired and needing a break. This song is about having that moment to be able to escape from whatever it is that's stressing you out and have some time for yourself."

When asked by a follower on Twitter about the driving force behind her highly anticipated new album, Underwood replied: "I feel like a lot of the songs that I wrote and gravitated to ended up being more traditional and "twangy" than anything I have ever done before."
