With season 6 currently airing on E4, Channel 4 is thrilled to announce a new deal with Sony Pictures Television that not only secures future seasons of The Goldbergs for broadcast on E4, but also ensures that every episode of every series will be available to stream on All 4. Episodes from the current series will stack on the platform as episodes are aired. Meanwhile series 1-5 will land on All 4 on 6th March.

The Goldbergs spin-off series Schooled will launch on E4 on the 6th of March, with episodes stacking on All 4 as they broadcast throughout the series run and remaining available thereafter.

Now in its sixth series, The Goldbergs follows the titular family’s escapades in 1980s Pennsylvania. Our narrator Adam (Sean Giambrone, with his future self voiced by Patton Oswald) just wants to grow up as a normal, nerdy teenager – and possibly become the world’s greatest filmmaker. That looks pretty unlikely when he’s constantly battling his own family: there’s his smothering but well-meaning mother Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey - Bridesmaids), his hot-tempered dad Murray (Jeff Garlin – Curb Your Enthusiasm), rebellious and musical sister Erica (Hayley Orrantia), emotional and idiotic brother Barry (Troy Gentile) and beloved grandfather Pops (George Segal – Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?). While the Goldbergs might not always see eye to eye, in this sweet natured comedy family always comes first.

Brand new for 2019, Schooled takes place at William Penn Academy in the 1990s. Erica’s best friend Lainey (AJ Michalka – She-Ra and the Princess of Power) finds her career as a rock musician stalling and decides her only option is to go back to school and become a music teacher. It soon becomes clear, however, that teaching is a lot harder than she imagined. With her old Principal Glascott (Tim Meadows - SNL), eccentric Coach Mellor (Bryan Callen - MADtv) and young, enthusiastic super-teacher CB (Brett Dier – Jane the Virgin), Lainey learns that being a teacher isn’t easy; it’s a kind of heroism.
