Lynsey replaces Alice Tonge who stepped down from her role this summer. Reporting to new Chief Marketing Officer, Zaid Al-Qassab, who joined the broadcaster this month, Lynsey will lead 4creative’s vision to make risky, culturally potent, ground-breaking work, inspired by Channel 4’s unique remit across the network’s portfolio – and will significantly input into Channel 4’s brand vision and strategy. Lynsey’s award-winning work includes the Department for Education’s Every Lesson Shapes A Life, The Guardian’s Three Little Pigs and Heathrow’s It’s A Wonderful Flight and Making It Home Makes It Christmas campaigns.
Lynsey Atkin said: “This opportunity is proper dream-job territory and I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the team at 4creative. It’s somewhere with a mind-boggling legacy of great people and brilliant work; I can’t wait to get started and see what we can do next.”
In addition to Lynsey’s appointment, Chris Wood takes up the new role of Deputy ECD. For the last few months Chris has been interim Head of 4creative following Alice’s departure. Ends
