Young voices have their say in True Stories – Channel 4’s new online factual strand

From December audiences will be able to watch a range of new factual shorts across its digital platforms, featuring the voices and views of young people living across the UK today.

Produced by Barcroft Studios, these bold and impactful films have been developed to give a stage to a diverse host of voices, tackling edgy and provocative topics in a series of unique formats. They will be dropping across Facebook and YouTube and include the following titles:

Fix Up
From some of the loudest and best-loved barbers and beauty salons, Fix Up is a debate show tackling Britain’s most talked about topics, including knife crime, cosmetic surgery, abortion and sex and relationships.

Flawless
Inspirational transformation series where young contributors with body or facial differences meet up-and-coming artists to work through their body confidence issues by having their portrait painted.

Feeling Sixteen
What is it really like to be sixteen in 2019? Fifteen British teens give their take on the most important issues facing young people today; from climate change and money to falling in love.

Behind the Mask
Masked contributors show us their strange and often illegal secret lives – including a guerrilla gardener growing cannabis on disused land as he harvests large bags of weed at a secret British location.

This Is Not Porn
The series that answers the questions you couldn't ask in sex education and won’t learn from watching porn. Sex vloggers, podcasters, and strippers answer questions on a series of topics.
These shorts will be available across Channel 4’s Facebook and Channel 4 Documentary YouTube from Monday 9th December
