Channel 4 appoints Miranda Higham Director of Corporate Relations

Channel 4 today announced that it has appointed Miranda Higham as Director of Corporate Relations. In this newly created role, Miranda will be a member of the Executive Management Board and will report directly to Chief Executive Alex Mahon.

Miranda will promote and protect the Channel 4 brand and will have overall leadership of Corporate Relations for Channel 4. She will lead a strategic, aligned and proactive function bringing together Corporate Communications, Corporate Brand and Experience, Content Communications (Publicity), Internal Communications, and working alongside Policy & Public Affairs. Corporate Communications and Corporate Brand & Experience will report directly to Miranda. A dotted reporting line will be established from the Content Communications team. Internal Communications and Policy & Public Affairs will remain within the People and Strategy & Consumer Insight teams respectively.

Miranda joins Channel 4 from WarnerMedia, where she sat on the International senior leadership team as Senior Vice President & Head of Communications, International, with responsibility for the external and internal communications strategy, reputation and profile management, and employee engagement. Prior to this, Miranda held senior leadership positions at 21st Century Fox and News Corporation. Miranda starts at Channel 4 on 3rd October 2022.

Channel 4’s outgoing Director of Communications, Sao Bui-Van, departs at the end of October.
