Who is a great leader?
It’s cheesy, it’s a cliché but it’s my mother. My mother is my role model. She’s one of the strongest, most empowering women I know. If I could be half the nurse – because she was a nurse as well – and half the parent to my two daughters that she was to me then I’m happy, I’m successful. I’ve achieved in life.

What makes your mum a great leader?
She’s a great role model. She’s empathetic, compassionate, kind, honest. She’s quite humble, caring and understanding. She puts me in my place when I step out of line, she guides me, she gives great life advice. Even though I’m 32 now she’ll always be my rock and I strive to be as successful and as well thought of as her in my life.
