Charli XCX to stop collaborating: 'I want to work on my own'

Charli XCX says she has had enough of working with other artists for the time being.

The singer has racked up a number of big name collaborations in the last few years.

She worked with Iggy Azalea on 'Fancy' and teamed with Rita Ora for 'Doing It'.

Speaking to Bang Showbiz, Charli XCX said she is now ready to focus on her own career.

She said: "I feel like I've done my fair share of collaborations for life now! I'm going to take some time for myself.

"Maybe I will do another collaboration in the future but right now I want to be quite selfish and work on my own."

The singer and songwriter released her second album 'Sucker' earlier this year and she added that her next record is sounding "very pop".
