Singer-songwriter Charli XCX has revealed that there's one person in particular that she hopes will make the move over to music in the new year. 

The 'Boom Clap' sensation took to her official Twitter page last night and explained why she believes Kylie Jenner would make the perfect pop star:

"I hope Kylie Jenner becomes a popstar in 2017. Like IMAGINE how good the debut Kylie Jenner album would be?! So many hits/feats/skits plus an epic deluxe edition w incredible packaging."

She then addressed the fact that 2016 has seen so many creative icons of hers pass away and added: "2016 has been such a piece of trash. I know people die everyday & no matter who it is, it's always sad for someone.. but I really hope no more creative icons/heroes die in 2017."
