Cher Lloyd on new Demi Lovato collaboration: 'It's a 'girl power' type of song'

British songstress Cher Lloyd features on Demi Lovato's brand new single, entitled 'Really Don't Care', and she has opened up about how the duet came to be in a new interview.

She explained to Ryan Seacrest for KIIS-FM that although her vocals are on the track, they recorded their parts separately and in different studios.

Lloyd admitted it's also a girl power anthem: "I actually remember being in the studio and calling her on Skype and her telling me what she would like and we worked together on writing my verse and it turned out amazing. This is very much a ‘girl power’-type of song.”

Lovato, meanwhile, is the guest vocalist on The Vamps' new single, which was just announced as 'Somebody To You', and the band's James McVey confessed that he's excited to have her on the song by tweeting: "So I LOVE Demi's voice... ahh sooooo lucky to have her on our next single :o:o:o @ddlovato."
