Following Cher Lloyd's stressful weekend at Britain's V Festival she now has a reason to celebrate as her debut American single has shifted over 1 million copies.

'Want U Back', which she released in the USA just 2 months ago, has sold over 1 million units and hasn't dropped out of the U.S. iTunes chart yet either.

Speaking about the fantastic news, Lloyd thanked her Brats for buying the track: “It’s so amazing ‘Want U Back’ has sold one million copies in America. My Brats rock, thank you!”

Her stateside success has already been impressive and she is scheduled to perform on The Today Show later this month on August 30.
