Cher Lloyd admits she was a "nightmare" to work with

Cher Lloyd has confessed that she wasn't easy to work with when she broke into the industry.

The young Brit was catapulted head-first into fame as a starry-eyed teen on the X Factor in 2010, but she developed something of a bratty reputation on the show.

Speaking to MTV, the 'Sticks & Stones' lady has admitted that she was tough to handle and stroppy when she began her music career. Lloyd said:

"I was a nightmare to work with. I was 16 years old and I wanted everything my way.  What I didn't understand that just starting out and being in the completion you have to earn your stripes and I didn't earn my stripes and I honestly feel that I haven't earned all of them yet - there's still a lot of hard work to do.

She added: "I don't want to be the person people don't want to meet...I never want to be remembered as the girl that came in and was rude to everyone and was an absolute diva even though she ain't got her stripes yet."

Lloyd meanwhile recently performed her hit track 'Want U Back' with Taylor Swift in Los Angeles. The video of their performance can be seen below.
