From South East London, UK artist Nathan Smoker is an accomplished writer, producer and live performer.
Hot on the heels of his huge UK tour dates (including renowned venue O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire) supporting English-Irish pop band New Rules, Nathan now unveils his powerful new offering ‘Swimming’, the track shows off Smoker’s signature soulful style. Smoker’s sublime and enigmatic vocal line complements the pulsating rhythm and foreboding synths to create a soundscape that captures the themes of a troubled relationship that run through the song.

Nathan Smoker teamed up with producer/musician/songwriter Joe Garrett for ‘Swimming’. Garrett has worked with artists such as Nas, Raye, Not3s, IAMDDB and ZieZie and worked on the writing behind Zayn Malik’s debut single ‘PILLOWTALK’ which garnered over 900 million streams worldwide and went 2x platinum in the UK and 5x Platinum in USA.

Being submerged in music from a young age, Smoker’s passion for performing flourished after getting his first contract on Oliver in the West End at just eight years old. Migrating from musical theatre, Smoker now expresses his own character through more contemporary music, spanning a multitude of genres. Smoker saw huge success on The Voice UK 2021, where he blew judges away on the blind audition and went onto reach the semi-finals. Nathan Smoker now aims to create a body of work with integrity that people can really relate to.
